Dr. Carli Lyons and Trevor Cyr are proud to announce a strategic professional partnership uniting their communities under a shared commitment to athletic performance
Our PURPOSE
This collaboration provides athletes with unprecedented access to high-level athletic development, evidence-based rehabilitation, and comprehensive recovery services.
By integrating performance training with clinical expertise, this partnership bridges the gap between health and high performance, which supports athletes at every stage of their journey, from return-to-play to peak performance.
Together, Lyons Performance and Take Control Training will serve hundreds of athletes with a unified, athlete-first approach designed to build resilience, enhance performance, and extend athletic longevity.
I’m Dr. Carli Lyons, founder of Lyons Performance & Recovery.
With extensive experience working with athletes—from the sidelines to the clinic, and from recreational players to professional competitors—I’ve seen how the right rehabilitation approach can completely change an athlete’s trajectory.
I recognized a clear need for true 1‑on‑1, sports‑focused rehab in the Clarington area, and that’s exactly why I opened my own clinic. My goal is to provide athletes with focused care, individualized attention, and the performance‑driven support they need to recover stronger and return to what they love with confidence.
I'm Trevor, founder of Take Control Training.
As a former athlete and full-time performance coach,
I’ve seen the difference structured training makes, not just in performance, but in confidence and character.
I created TCT Academy to give teens the support, strategy, and structure they need to grow both physically and mentally, ensuring they get the most out of their most important years.
